And so we open another chapter in the Honors Zombie Films book, House of Little Deaths. A film, all-improvised a la Eyam, this time set in a brothel. My goal is to dissect objectification; put it under a microscope and implicate audiences we think they're safe, who distance themselves from the issue of prostitution, who think it happens somewhere out there but not in their backyard. I want to cut it open and look at how it works. Are we going to change anyone? Probably not. But if we convince one person to realize how universal the issue is, then I'll call it a success. But in order to get there, we need your help. Below is a link to our fundraising page. And here's a look at an exclusive perk designed by friend and Last Flesh & Blood Show castmember Meg McIntyre. Limit twenty of these in print and shirt form; run don't walk because these are amazing!
We're using Indiegogo this time around simply because we need the option to make the film on half of our proposed budget. The more money we get, the more we can build the world of the brothel at the film's heart. But we'll do it for less if we have to. My cast and I are extremely passionate about this film so if you could help us, we'll be incredibly grateful and we'll give you a film you won't forget.
