Final Festival Submissions
Ok, so I've rounded out the last of the festival submissions, and I think today's batch might be the last (I'm out of Kickstarter money and I have to start spending money on pre-production on our next movie [no rest!]). So, we sent it to the Toronto International Film Festival, The Warsaw Film Festival, The Las Vegas Film Festival, The Maine International Film Festival, The Stepping Stone Film Festival, Tallgrass Film Festival, Rappahannock Independent Film Festival, Alabama International Film Festival, The Great Lakes International Film Festival and The Woodstock Film Festival. This has been a pretty amazing and overwhelming experience so far.

Review for I Need You!
Shujen Wang, author, critic and professor of film studies, gave me my first review today! She had complaints (she thought the relationship dymanic was too vague and that I over-explained everything in the end) but I thought I'd share selectively the parts that make me sound like I know what I'm doing:
"It was a very interesting journey watching the film and quite a gratifying one I would say. Everything made sense at the end. At the end I saw more Wong Kar-Wai in your film (esp Happy Together) than other directors. Visually it is really well-done! It has a nice quiet intensity that some of the contemporary Asian art film directors share (e.g., Kurosawa Kiyoshi, Tsai Ming-liang, Jia Zhang-ke)." -3/24/11
